Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing efficient and reliable Java backend solutions to support our software applications and services.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the backend meets the needs of the system.
- Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code in Java, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Conducting thorough testing and debugging of the backend code to ensure high-quality and error-free software.
- Optimizing the performance and scalability of the backend systems to handle high volumes of data and traffic.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues, providing timely solutions and recommendations.
- Collaborating with the front-end developers, database administrators, and other team members to integrate the backend with the overall system architecture.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Java development and backend engineering.
- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve the overall code quality and team productivity.
Requirements and skills
- Solid experience in Java development, specifically in building and maintaining backend systems.
- Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
